Understand something. First of all I am a Christian and am not ashamed of it. I am also a college graduate with a degree in music, one of the most difficult degrees to receive. 70% of all those who start a degree in music drop out b/c it is so difficult. i guess this story is telling me, that its ok to shoot ugly people cause there ugly as long as you have christ on your side... Please understand that this song is an allegory. It is based on a sermon that Carman heard and used as a basis for this song. Jesus gave His disciples power to cast out devils, cure disease, and spread the Truth. False religion is anything that teaches Jesus is not the only way to God. The Bible says that anyone that preaches another gospel is accursed,even if it is another angel. The Bible is our weapon and that is what the gun represents.

Continuing on from before. The bullets that he says are the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony is representing Revelation 12:11. It is not about shooting ugly people. This is about how God can give you victory over satan ( I do not capitalize his name because he does not deserve it . I just have to say, that denial is the ultimate untruth. Lies to one's self. The truth is Satan seems to be doing pretty well in the world. It wasn't supposed to represent "another" religion, it was supposed to represent ALL false religions, which is why it's the demon of false religion. Also, note that Carman says "Play that in your temple." Muslims don't have temples. So yes, I think the fact that nobody but you would immediately think "Muslim" makes it fine that it was used.
And if you hate religion so much, why do you care about a stereotype of Muslims being used?
