the story line seems like its based on the musical moulin rouge, its about this writer who goes to france, to write plays for a theatre, and the lead actress in the theatre is a prostitute, but he falls in love with her, and a bunch of stuff happens, and then she dies cause she got a std, i forget what the disease was called. Its kind of a weird movie but the songs are great.
